December POTM is World Community Grid
OK, time to get this going again.
December picks are.....
ABC@Home
Enigma@Home
PrimeGrid
Seti@Home
World Community Grid
Yo-Yo@Home
As always, you get 2 picks (if you want to pick 2). Top one will be the POTM second place will be the back-up. If for some reason the winning project has a problem the second place winner will take its place. You can also come back and change your vote later if you wish. Well until the voting is closed anyway. lol
You have until November 28th to vote. Get them in early. (can change your mind later)

Re: December POTM is ??????
Still some days left to get your vote in ( or change it).
WCG is leading so far. Has been a while since this one was a POTM. But with only a few votes so far, its still anyone's games.

Holy crap! I just saw the 100 million cobble award.
Now I want one. Only just over 95 million left for me to go.

And for those that are compulsively competitive, the FightAIDS@Home subproject appears to give the best points for computation time ratio. At least in my experience.
Also, units can be long (I have had units go for over 10 hours), but you can also get very short ones on the odd occasion (couple of minutes).

Re: December POTM is World Community Grid
So hard to get better totals like I do with most projects. But we are rocking this POTM. One of the biggest gains we have had in only 2 weeks.
I will be out of it for a few days cause of the PG challenge, but I will dump them back over as soon as its done.

I have been running this project for awhile, seems fairly stable and more importantly to me lately, the goal of the project is something I feel like is worthwhile for me to pay the extra electricity bill. I was having a hard time justifying that with Collatz and MW and etc.

But I think there might be another reason. Someone wants to knock me off the top spot there.

I'm working on getting my projects to 500K (except for SHA-1, which is no longer in existence) as a major milestone for myself. After that I'll sit down and work out what is next. Maybe next year I'll let the i7 loose on PrimeGrid for the challenges.

I'm not a member of CC, but I always love watching your POTM, but of course I never vote, but I've got to say that I love WCG!
It's always been one of my favorite projects!
