Music problems.

If you have any problem with the music section of the forum, please post here and let me know. Will try and correct the problem as quick as I can.

Limits = 5mb in size - MP3 Format - 10 uploads per user

Would like to use the link-to and use the likes of fileden or such to host music but that part isn't fully tested yet. (testers?) This will kind of be a small test for workablity and bandwith usage.

Gonna be a bit of a problem figuring out which three I would like to put up....

Hmmm...here's a minor issue...lol

I tried to upload a song. It went through all the stuff that it was supposed to, but when it stopped, it went right back to the Upload page rather than tell me wether the song uploaded or not. I looked and it isn't there.

Might have been because the upload didn't take. I thought I had a page for if for some reason the up failed. Seem to let me. Let me know.

I'll try it again now. Usually when the upload doesn't take, it lets me know. Didn't this time...lol

Odd. Looks like A/C got one up with no problems just a bit ago.

Are you sure it's mp3 format?

Don't clobber me.

Dose it seem to upload it for a bit or is it a quick flip back?

It's in MP3 format, but I didn't look at the file size.

That's why it wouldn't work. My bad.

Sux cuz it's the new Ozzy single....lol

OK. Kool. That was gonna be my next question. LOL Odd that it still didn't tell you that.

It should have checked the size first and let you know. Will have to look into that.

It used to tell me if the file was too big or corrupted, but this time it didn't. That's what had me all fouled up. :-)

Just wanted to inform. I tried uploading a song and it wouldn't upload. It could be my connection that's the problem.

Hi A/C, Thanxs. I can't seem to find the problem you are having. I just tested and seemed to let me. A couple things. Files need to be under 6mb. It is set for a little over 6, but it also adds info to upload. If you could try again, and let me know if you are still having the problem. Might have been at just that time also. Not sure when you where trying but I was making some changes to the file system too. Sorry

Hmm, I tried to upload a Dokken song that I ripped from a CD yesterday sometime late night/early morning. I tried a few moments ago and the same thing. It's a 4.39 MB mp3 at 128 kbps. I'll try another one and see if it uploads.

EDIT: Nope, I tried another Dokken song that's 4.47 MB and it wouldn't take. Maybe the computer doesn't like Dokken

It says "The page cannot be displayed"

Buga, have you checked his upload limit?? Remeber that same thing happened to me and it didn't tell me that I had reached my limit.

It was that way until you changed the limit for me.

I tried again this morning but it wouldn't up. So I'm thinkin' it's my connection

Very odd. I set all to unlimited ups, Only thing still in place is size. It does say 6.2. But in all reality its 6.

I'm using IE7. It came with vista. One thing is, when I check my connection manager software the upload seems really slow and the blank page comes up before the entire size of the file is upped. For example if the mp3 is about 4 MB the blank page comes up at about half or three quarters of the upload. I wouldn't sweat it. If others dont have the problem it's probly my connection.

EDIT: I was just able to upload a song. It's a smaller one, 1.34 MB.
